Standard operating procedure for fire

SOP for fire has been developed by DDMA-Gorakhpur which encompasses around the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders to immediate work out for fire risk reduction after its occurrence in any region of Gorakhpur.

WASH Sector has a strong presence at the national level and provincial level (depending on the number of agencies present in each provinces) with a strong standing readiness and capacity to participate in an emergency response should the need occur. The overall objective of the immediate WASH Sector response in the event of an emergency/disaster is to prevent Mortality and morbidity increases and outbreak of communicable diseases through immediate access to basic water, sanitation and hygiene through a predictable, timely, coordinated and effective response.
