This document presents results from Climate and Development Knowledge Network's (CDKN) projects to assess vulnerability and mainstream climate resilience into development planning. The document includes anecdotes from heatwaves in India, coastal development for climate change adaptation in Ghana, and vulnerability assessments in Colombia to illustrate the importance of involving diverse social groups in defining and monitoring vulnerability and in delivering adaptation solutions.
