The California Seismic Safety Commission collected mitigation success stories to demonstrate that effective earthquake risk reduction programs can be successfully implemented by public or private organizations. Five examples include: East Bay Municipal Utility District, Los Angeles Unified School, Anheuser-Busch Van Nuys Brewery, Berkeley Unified School District, and California State building Seismic Program.
