Technical Centre for Disaster Risk Management, Sustainability and Urban Resilience (DiMSUR), founded by Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, and Comoros.
Established in December 2014, DiMSUR is a sub-regional organisation focused on the development of local, national and regional capacities for reducing vulnerability and building resilience of communities to natural and other hazards in Sub-Saharan Africa.The centre was founded by the Governments of Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique and the Union of Comoros, facilitated by UN-Habitat. Its Headquarter is in Maputo, Mozambique. DIMSUR operates as a non-profit, autonomous, regional organisation, international in status and non-political in management, staffing and operations
