Mission

Ulsan Metropolitan City, a participating city in the Making Cities Resilient global campaign for disaster risk reduction, maintains a city vision including: safety first policies, an economic hub of NEA, devoted to citizens’ welfare, a dedicated partner to citizens, workers and businesses, and an eco-friendly city. Therefore, knowledge and understanding of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and the 10 Essentials for Resilient Cities are seen as key tools for supporting the city’s vision.
