The Society of volunteers human support was officially formed in 1990 to broaden support to the community health and education, mother and child human rights, emergency relief/disaster management, maternal health, Hiv/aids, malaria, family planning, nutrition, water & sanitation, expanding immunization program, human rights, legal aids, social justice, women empowerment, advocacy, gender equality, training, shelter, emergency preparedness, relief & rehabilitation, poverty alleviation and economical problems facing rural areas of Bangladesh. It has undertaken campaigns and collaborations that promote women human rights, economic justice and the women empowerment of low-income workers, their families and communities.
To support the disaster peoples school & community base programs eg. disaster preparedness, natural crisis awareness, emergency relief, rehabilitation, shelter & re-building, especially in coastal areas & others areas of Bangladesh.
Since 1987 the SVHS started its disaster prevention & risk management programs in affected areas of Bangladesh. The objective of the organization is to develop & disseminate solution of the natural crisis in a low cost effective method.
Rural mother & child health care society
The Society of volunteers human support (SVHS) Managing the events ,trainings,workshop for peoples,students ,volunteers & others providing them knowledge about DRR activities all the year round on school community base.and under differentials institute,college, schools & university's.
By volunteering in risky areas for assessment and early warnings managed by community radio, wireless, miking & radio link broadcasting programs for warnings.
All the year round our field operation team arranged differentials education,info & public awareness on based school campaign.
Differentials trainings, awareness & providing Info in right time is working in a eager movement by volunteers which is perfect preparedness for effective responses.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
