Center of Resilient Development
CoRD's mission is to engage with the stakeholders in identifying disaster and climate change risk, analyzing their potential adversaries to the communities, invest in approaches to mitigate the risk and reduce adverse impacts and translating the notion of integrated development into practice.
To help community move towards a better and safe future that is able to cope, adapt and mitigate the adverse impacts of disasters by using resilient development practices right from today.
1. To carry out implementation oriented research in the field of green development, disaster risk management, climate change and resilient development
2. To advocate and advise stakeholders as a think-tank institute for promoting a resilient and futuristic development practice
3. To provide training, hold forums and develop network for dissemination, capacity building and effective coordination in promoting resilient development

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
