The United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) is a leading research and teaching institute based in Tokyo, Japan. Disaster Reduction Goal
UNU-IAS research develops approaches to build resilience and reduce disaster risks. The institute’s work in this area focuses in particular on issues of risk communication, technological hazards and disaster recovery, as well as transdisciplinary education for DRR.
