More than 40 climate change adaptation measures for Luxembourg

Dieschbourg presented the adaptation strategy, which stems from the Paris Climate Agreement (COP21), to the environment committee on Wednesday.

Tourism, energy, health and regional planning are some of the sectors concerned by the measures.

Dieschbourg proposed to establish a catalogue of measures for sustainable forest management, and a draft law on forests will be presented shortly to the Chamber of Deputies.

The ministry is therefore developing, in collaboration with various research institutes, a "Flash Floods" project, which will aim to establish a model to better predict such events.
