"L’unico modo per superare le emergenze è lavorare sulla prevenzione," ha detto l’ingegner Luciano Tortoioli, coordinatore dell’area territorio, infrastrutture e protezione civile della Regione dell’Umbria, scrive Il Messaggiero. Qui in Umbria - dice Tortoioli- abbiamo fatto molto. Al di là delle zone che sono state colpite dal terremoto del settembre del 1997. In quelle aree case ed edifici pubblici sono stati sottoposti a interventi di miglioramento sismico». Insomma, un passo avanti dopo la paura, i danni e i lutti.
