China: Ministry enhances railway safety against earthquakes

In a statement, Chinese Minister of Railways Sheng Guangzu announced enhanced cooperation between the China's Ministry of Railways (MOR) and the China Earthquake Administration (CEA) to strengthen railway safety against earthquakes. According to Xinhua, the concerted efforts is aimed at enhancing earthquake prevention and disaster relief capabilities for the country's high-speed railways.
