Guyana: CDC observes International Disaster Risk Reduction Day

The Civil Defence Commission (CDC), which is the national body tasked with the responsibility for coordinating all Disaster Risk Management (DRM), stated that the International Disaster Risk Reduction Day will be observed this year, according to the National Communications Network. CDC in collaboration with key stakeholders will be hosting an exhibition on October 13, under the theme "Making Youth Partners for Disaster Risk Reduction", at the Sophia Exhibition Center (Annex Building).
