Central America launches new weather prediction database

A database launched yesterday by Central American officials is intended to predict natural hazards and reduce the potential impact of climate change, reports AFP. 'The challenge of climate change is how we prepare the region to better address this problem to reduce the risks,' said El Salvador's Environmental Minister Herman Rosa Chavez.
