Simple tools help a drying African region cope with climate change

While the Sahel region of western Africa is prone to extreme events – prolonged drought periods, more heavy rainfall - and plenty of climate change-adaptation projects brought by international donors and aid efforts have been successful, Deutsche Welle highlights success stories of simple projects involving local knowledge and farmers long used to coping with climatic fluctuations.
