Call for papers for 'Risk analysis and crisis reponse conference - RACR 2011'


A call for papers has been launched by the organizers of the 3rd International Conference on Risk Analysis and Crisis Response to be held in Laredo, Texas, USA from 22-25 May 2011.

Abstracts (no more than 300 words) and papers are invited for submission in any of the listed fields on the conference topics:

1. The latest theory and methodology on risk analysis
2. Theory and methodology on crisis response
3. Risk analysis and emergency management of natural disasters
4. Risk analysis and emergency management of catastrophic accidents
5. Risk analysis and crisis of public health and crisis response to outbreaks
6. Risk analysis and crisis response to threats to social safety
7. Financial risk management
8. Political risk Insurance and commercial risk Insurance
9. Integrated risk management of emerging risks
10. Risk analysis for terrorism events
11. Environmental risk assessment and management
12. Chemical, biological, and radiological hazards
13. Risk issues due to the shortage of vital strategic resources
14. Food and feed safety risk and governance
15. Risks triggered by global climate change
16. Risk management for critical infrastructure protection
17. Risk evaluation in large-scale public activities
18. Risk analysis serving for urban safe operation
19. Financial management of large-scale catastrophes
20. Benefits and risks of nano-technologies
21. Intelligent information systems in risk analysis
22. Computer simulation technology for crisis management
23. Harmonized decision support
24. Other related topics

Electronic submission is strongly recommended. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the program committee in accordance with the standard practice and the criteria for the conference. Final acceptance is based on review of the full-length papers. The official language of the conference will be English. All abstracts and papers MUST be submitted in English.
