Vietnam: World Vision helps Thanh Hoa reduce disaster impacts

According to the Vietnam News Agency, World Vision will provide over 1.1 million USD for the central coastal province of Thanh Hoa in order to improve its capacity in disaster risk management through the Coastal Areas of Thanh Hoa province Resilient to Natural Disasters (CATREND) project. CATREND will also provide information and communication documents, seminars and training courses, and support radio and television programmes on community-based natural disaster mitigation.
