The Australian Disaster Resilience Conference presents Knowledge Week will be taking place virtually. Knowledge Week will be held over the course of four days (24 – 27 August 2020), with a variety of sessions and special events that you can mix and match to suit your interests and availability. Conference theme: Disaster risk reduction in action: pathways to impact. Attend the full conference, select a daily pass, or join for free events.

Highlights will include:

  • Keynote speaker: Alice Hill;
  • Monday presentation session: Collaborating for impact;
  • Tuesday presentation session: Local leadership;
  • Wednesday presentation session: Community creating change;
  • Thursday presentation session: Business fostering resilience;
  • National Disaster Resilient Australia-New Zealand School Education Network Forum (free);
  • Australian Disaster Resilience Network virtual afternoon tea (free);
  • Launch of the Community Engagement Handbook (free).
