Adaptation to climate change in the Baltic Sea Region
The final conference of the Baltadapt project will bring together policy makers across all levels, scientists and other stakeholders dealing with climate change in the Baltic Sea Region in order to discuss the EU’s first macro-regional adaptation strategy and related adaptation measures.
What to expect:
- Networking opportunites with climate change adaptation professionals from across the Baltic Sea Region and beyond
- Keynote speeches on climate change adaptation policy and research
- Presentation and discussion of the macro-regional Baltic Sea Region climate change adaptation strategy and its accompanying action plan
- Panel discussion with policy makers from EU to local level on implementing climate change adaptation strategies
- Launch of the Baltic Window, an interactive pan-Baltic information platform on climate change adaptation
- Workshops on sectoral perspectives on and best-pratice examples in climate change adaptation
- Interactive exhibition area featuring a climate change visualisation dome
