China’s first disaster reduction themed animated film ‘Today, Tomorrow’ now in cinemas

To commemorate China’s 4th Disaster Reduction Day on May 12th, a cartoon film named ‘Today, Tomorrow’ was premiere in China last weekend on May 11th, reports the Wenhui Daily.

By telling an adventurous story of a little boy Mila, the film shows the children how to survive in 4 natural hazard disasters: earthquake, tsunami, flood and land slide. In order to attract more youngsters, the story line adopts a creative model involving children and animals - a story line familiar to kids.
