Australia funds natural hazard resistant harbour in Viet Nam
The Australian Ambassador to Viet Nam, Bill Tweddell, announced yesterday that Australia will provide US$9.85 million to Viet Nam over four years to reduce poverty in the central province of Quang Ngai. He also opened an Australian-funded harbour that is hoped will provide protection for hundreds of poor fishing families who are among the most vulnerable when natural hazards occur.
