Pakistan: UN-HABITAT launches mass information campaign to promote DRR among communities nationwide

According to OnePakistan, UN-HABITAT has produced a calendar for the year 2012 and an interactive board game conveying messages on safe construction and preparedness for anticipated floods, with an aim to empower communities and increase their resilience towards disasters throughout Pakistan.

A simple guide introducing the principle elements of land administration systems in this country has also been prepared with a team of legal experts. It particularly targets the small NGO Community in Pakistan, which may not have access to adequate engineering advice, says the report.
