Webinar on: the nexus between scientists and decision makers in disaster risk management

In the framework of the ROADMAP project, a series of Webinars will be held with international experts on Disaster Risk Management (DRM) issues, with the objective of discussing relevant topics on the management of various phases of risks to find good practices and propose guidelines to the Community of Stakeholders involved in the process at EU, national and local levels.

The first Webinar, entitled “The nexus between Scientists and Decision Makers in Disaster Risk Management”, will be held on June 25th, at 10AM (CET), and will be dedicated to the very important role of scientists and decision makers in the DRM process to understand how the connection between these two groups can be improved.

The Webinar will have interventions from:

  • Alexandre Tavares – University of Coimbra, Portugal;
  • Daniela Di Bucci – Civil Protection Department, Rome, Italy;
  • Massimo Cocco – National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, Rome, Italy;
  • Flavia Riccardo – Italian National Institute of Health, Rome, Italy.

The participation in the Webinar is free, but registration is mandatory. The webinar will be spoken in English.
