Disaster Risk Reduction, Emergency Preparedness and First Aid Training

Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Emergency Response/Preparedness (ER) and First Training for the partiicpants and staff of 21 different schools, colleges and private instutes (Nursing and Meduical Institue, Balochistan).

During each training 60-75 students, inlcusing staff were trained of DRR/ER/First Aid and even basic oif fire fighting. Drills and demosntartions were conducted, along with the presentations, and related material such fire extenguishers, first aid kits, DRR games/stories for children etc. were also distributed among the partcipants and management for better future utilisiation. 

Morever,  #Scouts Unit was also formed for the services to be utilised by students and staff in near future. As BBSA believe, disasters and hazards may not be controlled or stopped but it’s impact can be reduced and minimised through prevention, preparedness and mitigation.
