The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Centre (NDRRMC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Security, National Solidarity, and Environment and Sustainable Development (Environment and Sustainable Development Division) (MoSSESD) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is organising a Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) training from 8-12 October 2018 in Mauritius.

The training is benefitting some 60 local participants from various governmental and private organisations.

The objective of the training is to develop a comprehensive PDNA methodology to achieve effective recovery strategies.
