On The International Day for Natural Disaster Risk Reduction, the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations „Petrodava” of Neamţ County is keen to support this event by organizing and conducting the following:
An earthquake exercise, aiming to provide information concerning action that should be carried out during an earthquake and immediately after it’s occurrence, in cooperation with the County School Inspectorate, involving all schools in Neamt county. Therefore, on 12.10.2018, at 09:45 am, all the alarm devices will play the disaster alarm signal. Over 50,000 pupils will be involved in this activity, which represents an attempt to motivate pupils towards reducing existing disaster risks, according to the priority of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030.
Also, on the same day, in collaboration with local authorities, there will be an exercise for alert, warning and alarming population as a result of an earthquake affecting the City of Roman.
In all Fire Units of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations „Petrodava” of Neamţ County there will also be an „Open Gates Day” where students in the county are invited to participate.
