Water, a precious and shared resource around the world, is becoming scarce in the wake of population increase, climate change and mismanagement. There is a crucial need to ensure conservation, effective and sustainable use of water resources at all levels for a prosperous future and survival of the life on land.    

Research and Development Foundation (RDF), together with District Administration Mirpurkhas, Trocaire, LHDP, USPCAS-W Mehran University Jamshoro and Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam, is holding the ‘1st Sindh Water Expo 2018’ on 22 March at Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Pakistan by bring together academia, industry, traders, civil society, government departments and farmers at one place to provide comprehensive insight into water use. This conference will share best practices, the latest and environmentally friendly technological innovations, farmer perspectives and reforms in Sindh. The event shall also provide an opportunity to farmers, students and water practitioners to discuss their issues with experts, companies, service providers and the researchers to learn from and find out safe and sustainable solutions.
