The Global Conference for Prosperity through Hydrological Services (HydroConference) aims to foster collaboration on improving the availability and use of hydrological services worldwide by:

  • Promoting collaboration for new and ongoing initiatives, including the establishment of data exchange;
  • Leveraging the knowledge and expertise of the full range of water stakeholders to coordinate efforts towards greater impact; and 
  • Mobilizing public and private sector leaders to leverage funding in support of key initiatives.

Pre-Registration

Who should pre-register? All participants are invited to pre-register. There is no registration fee for the Conference.

Self-funded participants

To speed-up the registration process and to be able to express your initial ideas on the themes of the Conference, we kindly ask you to fill in the pre-registration form (only available in English) until Friday, 4 May 2018. After that date you will have to register at the registration desk on-site.

Participants requiring financial support

If you are requesting financial support, please fill in the pre-registration form and make sure you answer the questions in part 2. The deadline for submitting your financial support request is Friday, 23 March 2018.

Be advised that, depending on the availability of funds, a limited number of participants from developing countries and countries with economies in transition will be provided financial support, the selection criteria including motivation, geographical distribution and gender balance.

Registration on-site

Registration for the Conference will take place at the conference information and registration desk in WMO Headquarters and start on Monday 7 May 2018 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Registration will continue throughout the session. At the time of registration, participants will receive identification badges, which should be worn throughout the session. Pre-registered participants will find their badge already prepared at the desk.
