Cambodian Red Cross Society celebrates the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction with an aim to raise awareness and disseminate the message of Disaster Risk Reduction by the Svay Rieng Red Cross Branch through the activities below:

  • Key messages by the Secretary General of the Cambodian Red Cross

  • Half day dissemination campaign with high school students and the community

  • Opening session

  1. Welcome speech by Red Cross Branch Committee

  2. Key remarks by the Secretary General of the Cambodian Red Cross

  • Awareness raising

    • Staff from the Cambodian Red Cross Society and branch will carry out this activity by inviting participants to answer questions related to the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, humanitarian values, disaster, health and climate change effects.

    • Providing prizes for the winners

    • Closing speech with key recommendations by chairman
