15th Global Spatial Data Infrastructure Global Conference (GSDI15)

The Ministry of Interior of Taiwan has worked with the Global Spatial Data Infrastructure Association (GSDI) to hold the 15th GSDI World Conference in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference will last for five days, from 28 November to 2nd December in 2016. The theme of the conference is Spatial Enablement in Smart Homeland, including three main topics of Smart Disaster Prevention, Smart Transportation and Smart City.

Intended Audience

The conference will not only invite experts of smart homeland from all fields, including government, industry, and academy, and it is also a great opportunity for experience and technology exchanges. There will also be a grand exhibition for showcases of smart homeland-related technologies and products, providing exchanges of new technologies and businesses, in order to help advance the industry’s development. The conference also invited internationally well-known experts as the keynote speakers, including Mark Reichardt, President and CEO of the Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc. (OGC); Barbara Ryan Secretariat Director of the Intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations (GEO); Ed Parsons Geospatial Technologist of Google; Menno-Jan Kraak Principle of the International Cartographic Association; and Greg Scott Inter-Regional Adviser on Global Geospatial Information Management.

Registration of Exhibitor ends on 31st August 2016, and the booths are selected on a first-come (finish the registration) first-served basis.

Deadline for Call for Paper is on 1st June 2016, via website instructions.
The authors may choose to:

  1. Submit only extended abstract
  2. Submit full paper
  3. Full paper submission with or without peer review.
    (peer reviewed papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings, and possibly in the international journals)
