2015 will be an exciting year for the conference. As the theme suggests, this forum will be the first checkpoint for reporting on the progress made after two years of the implementation of the 2014-2024 Caribbean Comprehensive Disaster Management Strategy. Consequently, a number of new initiatives will be unveiled. These include the Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER) Framework for the CDM Strategy 2014-2024 and the baseline study. Together, these tools will provide decision-makers with information related to progress, gaps and lesson learnt in the implementation of CDM. The conference will also create a space for reflection on the progress of CDM over the last 10 years.
