A Trilateral Expert Meeting on Disaster Loss Data and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Technology Sharing will be held from 26 to 28 March 2014 in Jeju, Republic of Korea. Organized by ESCAP, United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR), and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Korea, the meeting will discuss the preliminary results of case studies, data acquisition, and further recommendations for harmonizing disaster data among Northeast Asia. Participants will also explore better compatibility of information on hazard profiles, disaster loss database and joint research programmes.
