UK-South Asia young scientists and practitioners seminar on climate change and disaster impact reduction

Disaster and Development Centre (DDC) of Northumbria University started its higher education focused activities in a form of pilot project in Nepal since 2003. The programme is supported by British Council and DFID. The local partners are Disaster Management and Sustainable Development Centre (DMSDC), Kathmandu University, B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) and Ministry of Local Development, Nepal.

To celebrate World Environment Day-2008 Disaster and Development Centre organises (with its local partners) an event UK-South Asia Young Scientists and Practitioners Seminar on Climate Change and Disaster Impact Reduction in June 2008 at Kathmandu .
