Jumemmej Declaration

This declaration reflects the ambitions of the Member States of the Climate Vulnerable Forum, calling for nations and non-state actors to act on the findings of the IPCC Special Report on 1.5°C ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference at Katowice (COP24). It outlines commitment by leaders to update and raise the level of ambition of their own nationally determined contributions to the global response to climate change (NDCs) by 2020 and calls for greater flows of international climate finance to be delivered far more rapidly and effectively, with particular attention for least developed countries (LDCs) and small island developing states (SIDS).
