Source(s):  United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization - Bangkok (UNESCO BKK)

This report underscores the importance of educational buildings and furnitures in Asia and the Pacific to minimize injuries through accidents to children. It covers safety and security in design and construction, day-to-day use and maintenance, educational use, and misuse. Then follows a discussion of some of the conflicts which caqn arise between educational developments and safety issues. (UNEsCO)
