The present page contains inputs provided by Member State Experts and other stakeholders registered as participants in the Open-Ended Inter-Governmental Expert Working Group on Terminology and Indicators related to Disaster Risk Reduction. The inputs reflect the comments and suggestions of the participants on terminology and indicators related to the seven global targets of the Sendai Framework as well as proposed comments and suggestions to update the 2009 UNISDR Terminology on Disaster Risk Reduction. The proposals take into account the two background papers prepared by UNISDR entitled “Proposed Updated Terminology on Disaster Risk Reduction: A Technical Review” and “Indicators to Monitor Global Targets of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030: A Technical Review”.
