PreventionWeb accepts disaster risk reduction (DRR) content submissions from organizations working to reduce disaster risk and vulnerability.

We do not publish individual work without an accompanying organization source; we do not publish academic theses, brochures, or advertising materials.

Submission guidelines

  • Academic programmes

    Higher education, programmes from nationally accredited institutions on or including disaster risk management and DRR leading to degrees or certificates at the Bachelors, Masters or PhD levels

    For non-credit training and courses, see Training & Events.
  • Documents or publications

    Publication abstracts highlighting DRR with links to full text or publishers including books, case studies, good practice, policy briefs, guidelines, position papers, studies and reports

    For official governmental policy, see Policy, Plans & Statements For instructional guidelines and manuals, also see Educational Materials
  • Educational materials

    Multilingual instructional materials for use by teachers, trainers and community leaders to educate children and/or adults on DRR
