This brochure presents the Disaster Risk Reduction in North East Asia (DRR in NEA) programme, for which UNISDR’s Office of North East Asia collaborates with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to build resilience and reduce disaster risk in the Republic of Korea. The programme also provides policy guidance to improve coordination and effectiveness of disaster risk reduction, management and response in Mongolia following requests from the UN Resident Representative Office there; and includes the organization of Trilateral Disaster Management (China, Japan, Rep. of Korea) Ministerial and Directors level meetings.
