It identifies five principal axes of intervention for the implementation of a plan to fight floods in the Comoros: (i) improved of weather prevention; (ii) capacity building for institutional actors risk management disasters; (iii) implementation of adaptation actions responding to locally identified needs; (iv) building community capacity to fight floods; and (v) intensification of anti-erosion combined with the adaptation of sustainable land management practices (SLM).
