This guide, which is written especially with the UK home owner in mind, hopes to reduce the worry about what flood protection products to use, and illustrates the variety of ways a home can be protected, how difficult the product is to fit and when it is appropriate to use them. It asserts that often the case when the flood water is too high that it is better to let the floodwater in and adapt your home to reduce the devastation the floodwater can have, so there is a section on this too, using case studies from people who have been flooded but have now taken moves to make their homes resilient to flooding.
