Making cities resilient: my city is getting ready! - campaign kit
2010-2015 world disaster reduction campaign:
This information kit outlines the characteristics of a disaster resilient city and identifies what constitutes urban risk. It provides important facts and figures about disaster risk and describes the Making Cities Resilient Campaign 2010-2015. It informs mayors, local governments and other local actors about what they can do now to make their cities safer from disasters and how to get involved in the campaign.
The translation of the campaign kit in Albanian, Croatian, Macedonian, Montenegrin, Serbian and Turkish was initiated under the UNISDR-WMO project 'Building Resilience to Disasters in Western Balkans and Turkey' with the support of the European Commission through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).
Note: This kit was initially launched in the 2010-2011 biennium.
