Mission

AAI is an international humanitarian organisation that saves lives and reduces human suffering through the provision of health action in response to humanitarian emergencies and by building the resilience of communities that are vulnerable to crisis.

Disaster Reduction Goal

To engage with local communities in managing local disaster risk by increasing local capacity and resilience and reducing vulnerability to natural hazards often with the collaboration of external actors from civil society, local government and the private sector.
