Due to climate change related water shortage, cattle feed will be more scarce, according to Absalom Manyatsi from the University of Swaziland, Faculty of Agriculture, reports Swazi Observer. Talking at a climate meeting Manyatsi warned that "agriculture, energy, water are some of the sectors to be affected, we therefore need to capacitate each other in as far as climate change is concerned." He added that floods and droughts would be more frequent and that the irrigation system is not adequate to face such problems. Participants of the meeting also called for investment in climate change adaptation and for capacity building for local farmers.
