Solutions for a hungry world: Connecting the dots - Understanding climate impacts on food security and hunger

Climate change is posing an increasing threat to food security globally, and particularly in the poorest regions, such as Africa's drought affected areas. In order to understand the connections between climate change and staple crop production, World Food Programme and the Met Office Hadley Centre are cooperating to improve analysis that can aid decision makers in responding to the risks ahead, reports Alertnet.
