Dominica: Britain has doubled bilateral assistance to the Caribbean

According to Dominica News, the Head of DFID (UK aid from the Department for International Development) for the Caribbean, Harry Hagan, announced that British support to the Caribbean has been doubled by 50 percent annually over four years. Addressing the launch of Dominica’s National Strategy and the Dominica Coalition of Services Industries, Hagan said the support focuses on three main areas: growth and trade, climate change and disaster risk reduction, and governments and security.
