Korea, Japan to monitor volcanic activity on Mt. Baekdu

Starting next year, Korea's National Institute for Disaster Prevention and the Japan Disaster Prevention Research Institute will jointly develop technology to predict volcanic eruptions on Mt. Baekdu and minimize damage, as reported by the Chosunilbo.
