Adaptation Fund project and programme proposals available for comments
The Secretariat of the Adaptation Fund Board has posted the project and programme proposals to support adaptation in developing countries that have been submitted to date. Interested stakeholders are invited to comment on them online.
At its ninth meeting in March 2010, the Adaptation Fund Board decided to issue the first call for project and programme proposals. In accordance with the applicable operational policies and guidelines, project and programme proposals are to be posted on the Adaptation Fund website before the Adaptation Fund Board Secretariat conducts their screening and technical review.
The Secretariat of the Adaptation Fund Board posts the proposals as they are submitted by the implementing entities. Interested stakeholders are invited to register and submit their comments online. The proposals will be reviewed by the Board's Project and Programme Review Committee during its first meeting in Bonn, Germany, on 14 June 2010.
