The Laurel, Maryland office of Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager focusing on Hazard Mitigation Planning. Job ID # 1337. This position will be based out of our Laurel headquarters and will travel on an as needed basis.

The candidate must have these basic qualifications/requirements:

- Bachelor of Science degree in planning, engineering or related field
- Ten (10) years experience in Hazard Mitigation planning work
- Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

-Familiar with local government and FEMA work

Job Responsibilities:

- Leader for the hazard mitigation work in the Department
- Responsible for hazard mitigation planning work, marketing and developing new work
- Mentoring of young HM planners, and provide support to the Department Head
