The Kenya Government in partnership with the Baringo County Government and other partners are hosting the National IDDR Celebrations in Marigat, Baringo County. This is the first IDDR celebration in an agreement to host the IDDR celebrations rotating in the 47 counties in Kenya.

The IDDR celebrations will commence with a Media brief on 10 October and will proceed with a symposium at the lake Bogoria Spa Resort in Marigat, Baringo County from 13-15 October, with the County Government and other major stake holders in the DRR field participating in the event. The main celebrations will be held on the 16 October at the Marigat Secondary School field.
