Workshop launch of the master's eco-DRR module at the 7th world environmental education congress
This workshop, orchestrated as part of the 7th World Environmental Education Congress (WEEC), will officially launch the master’s module on Disasters, Environment and Risk Reduction (Eco-DRR) developed by UNEP through the Partnership of Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR) and the Center for Natural Resources and Development (CNRD) based at the Cologne University for Applied Sciences (CUAS).
The CNRD-PEDRR alliance invites universities to participate and collaborate in delivery of the elective module, which is currently being delivered in a number of universities across the globe. The workshop constitutes the official launch of this unique module which combines ecosystem studies with disaster risk management and climate change adaptation through interactive learning and real world problem solving.
