Source(s): Xinhua News Agency

"The impact of climate change is felt differently by different genders hence the need to entrench gender in climate change issues, " told Annabell Waititu, Executive Director of the Institute of Environment and Water (IEW) to Xinhua. Talking at a workshop in Nairobi, Kenya, Waititu emphasised the importance of mainstreaming gender issues into climate discussions.
